Black pesto

Homemade black pesto


  • one bulb black garlic
  • 1 tbsp flaky sea salt (Maldon)
  • 3/4 cup roasted pine nuts
  • 1 cup fresh basil
  • 3 tbsp extra vierge olive oil
  • 3-4 tbsp nutritional yeast
6 ingredients


Start by peeling the garlic cloves. toast the pines (not necessary, but adds flavor). Place all the ingredients in a food processot. Mix until it forms a paste. If it is too thick, add some more olive oil. Adjust seasoning too taste. Done!
